Beth Learn is a core fitness specialist and the founder of Fit2b.com plus the cohost of Fit2B Radio which is a women's health podcast. She holds a bachelors degree in Exercise and Sport Science and multiple fitness certifications including Yoga, kickboxing, step aerobics, hypopressives, Tai Chi, pre/postnatal fitness, senior fitness, and more. Her comprehensive, effective workouts range from the most basic breath and alignment work to the most advanced stretching, cardio and weightlifting exercises, all taught with her unique style of cueing for core awareness. She is the author of "The Unclosed Core," a book about her experience working to tend torn apart tummies, and she enjoys competitive race-walking and serving in her local recovery community as a children's pastor and worship leader at Xchange Church. She is nearly finished writing her second book entitled, "My So Called Second Hand Life," and she has begun work on a third book project that will benefit people in transitional housing called, "Second Hand Stories of Recovery."
Beth lives in rural Washington State on 7 acres with her husband and two children, 8 chickens, 6 goats, 7 barn cats, one cow, one horse, and one black lab. When she's not practicing exercises for a future Fit2B film session, you'll find her trying her best to teach math and grammar to her two wildlings, reading historical fiction, walking really fast, lifting heavy things, teaching group fitness classes, leading worship at her church, teaching Sunday school, picking blueberries, or watching Netflix while crocheting rag rugs or surfing her phone for new research.
She launched Fit2B Studio in 2010 with her partner, Chris Behnke, becoming the world’s first home workout video website exclusively devoted to TummySafe Fitness for people dealing with core dysfunction. Beth has worked tirelessly since 2010 to integrate diastasis recti rehabilitation into mainstream fitness styles. She has traveled the world as a speaker and educator, and she has fostered world-wide collaborations for the Fit2B Radio podcast and online fitness courses including Experts In Diastasis Recti, 14 Days to A Better Neck, Get your Glutes In Gear, and many others on fit2b.com.
Above all, Beth is passionate about making movement meaningful and helping people understand the importance of exercise and how their bodies work, so they can be stronger contributors to their families, communities and world.
Writing a book, launching another ecourse, creating more workouts to film for Fit2B, registering for continuing education, hybrid homeschooling her kids, race walking with the Toe Jammin' Portland to Coast team, leading worship at Xchange Church, speaking to groups locally and abroad... Beth has a lot going on, but she is never too busy to help you!
